Reporting to the Senior Manager - Investor Relations, the Associate - Investor Relations will contribute to the development of lasting, sustainable relationships with existing and prospective Indigenous co-investors in investment fund products and other investments solutions offered by IBA Investments. The role will assist the Investor Relations team with the development and maintenance of investor communications, reporting, the on-line presence of IBA investment funds, the delivery of investment workshops and other capacity development activity. As the Associate – Investor Relations, you will have well-developed organising, planning and prioritisation skills with a high level of attention to detail. You will possess the energy, commitment and diligence to meet deadlines and to manage the expectations of others, with strong analytical and lateral-thinking skills. You will be self-starting, results-oriented and be able to take ownership of initiatives and drive them to completion. You will be able to travel within Australia on a regular basis, if required. Selection Criteria: 1. Awareness of the economic development aspirations of, and commitment to working ethically with and in the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 2. Understanding, or demonstrated ability to develop an understanding, of investment markets and products, including an awareness of the risks and opportunities they present for Indigenous communities, organisations and groups. 3. Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, commerce, accounting, law or other related fields. 4. Ability to apply commercial judgment and to practically assess investment risk 5. Cultural capability including a respect for diversity and ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. 6. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to write professionally, concisely and with clarity; and the ability to present to other individuals or groups. Ability to understand and communicate advanced investment concepts and issues concisely both verbally and in writing.

This job is located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin and Alice Springs.
