We are looking for a Communities & Social Performance Business Partner based in Perth or Residential in the Pilbara. The Communities and Social Performance (CSP) team supports our business by building close relationships with our communities and regional towns, managing our Indigenous and local development programs, designing CSP strategies, and supporting studies and project approvals. The team also manages our Pastoral Stations and is accountable for tracking and ensuring strong CSP performance. This role will support RTIO to make significant improvements to the way we work with the communities, including the Traditional Owners on whose land we operate. This role will play an important part in building long-term, deep and positive relationships with Traditional Owners, developing solutions and initiatives that benefit communities and support RTIO’s social license to operate in the Pilbara.
To succeed in this role, you will have: - Demonstrated passion for building relationships, building deep community knowledge and striving to bring benefits through proven communication, project and risk management, and social performance - Proven ability to build positive relationships - Qualifications in Social Science / Community Development / Community Services / Community Engagement - A broad background ideally with experience working in mining & resources, construction, facilities or utilities in an interfacing role - Experience with risk identification and management - Excellent people, teamwork and communication skill
