The Early Career Services Advisor is responsible for a diverse range of programs related to Early Careers pathways and programs at RMIT, specifically (but not exclusively) related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce. The position provides services across the Academic and Non-Academic portfolios and requires exceptional stakeholder managements skills. * This is a Targeted position and therefore ONLY open to applicants of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage in accordance with an exemption granted under section 12 of the Vic – Equal Opportunity Act 2010. To come and join our team, you’ll meet the following criteria: ‘Must identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person’ Experience in implementing and leading educational projects and professional development initiatives including an understanding of Graduate and/or other Early Career Programs. A proven ability to build positive and robust relationships with key stakeholders and a strong commitment to work in a team environment. Highly motivated and pro-active with a proven track record in delivering, showing initiative and creative problem solving. Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders. Including the ability to deal sensitively with employees and RMIT leadership. The ability to work independently, as a member of a team and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to help achieve strategic objectives. Reporting experience and ability to interpret data from systems. High level of computer literacy Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Arts, Business or related field Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
