This position will assist the engagement and impact team in delivering marketing, communications and relationship management expertise to the school. This role will support the school's social media platforms, website updates, conduct impact analysis, capture information for the school's stakeholder database and perform various administrative tasks. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the engagement and impact strategy.
SELECTION CRITERIA The breadth and depth of the roles are illustrated in the below selection criteria. While candidates should ideally meet all selection criteria, the School of Cybernetics will consider all applications that demonstrate alignment with its mission. 1. Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or PR, or other training in marketing and relevant experience in a marketing role. 2. Strong awareness of effective tools and techniques in online marketing and communications 3. Demonstrated high level customer service with effective communication and written skills. Experience creating PPT presentations, drafting business correspondence, creating reports will be highly regarded. 4. Awareness of how to effectively liaise with stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment and ability to establish and maintain respectful and productive working relationships with staff, students and colleagues from a diverse range of backgrounds. 5. Proven organisational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise own workload and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting competing deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes. 6. A “can-do” attitude and willingness to get involved in a range of different activities, including going outside your “comfort zone”. 7. Proficiency using the MsOffice suite. Experience with data management platforms and website maintenance will be highly regarded. 8. A demonstrated understanding of equal opportunity principles and policies and a commitment to their application in a University context.
