Directly reporting to the Head of Engagement, the Inclusion & RAP Consultant Lead role is focussed on enabling the success of diversity & inclusion objectives at Medibank. The role will also work closely with P&C and business stakeholders to drive inclusion & sustainability strategic objectives and has primary responsibility for the delivery of Medibank’s Reconciliation Action plan commitments. The Inclusion & RAP Consultant Lead duties will include: • Leading the delivery and strategic development of Medibank’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) together with internal and community stakeholders • Leading the coordination of events that celebrate diversity and inclusion and drive employee participation and engagement around activities • Leading the working group & D&I council strategy and operations, and support local action plans • Developing, monitoring, and reporting practices to track Medibank’s progress, raise issues and suggest ways to mitigate risks • Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, with a particular focus on community stakeholders across the diversity & inclusion portfolio including Disability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sectors • Have a clear understanding of processes, systems and people within their business area that are subject to the compliance requirements. • Designing and enabling a culture which is truly inclusive and allows all individuals to bring their “whole of selves” to work • Preparing submissions for awards, tenders and associated requests (i.e. Victorian Male Champions of Change, WGEA, DCA) where data and evidence on our diversity approach is required • Other duties as directed.

You’ll bring 3 years of experience with P&C//OD/Diversity & Inclusion role in a medium to large company environment with experience working in diversity, sustainability and employee engagement areas. You will also have a demonstrated experience of successfully working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, aligned to the principles of self-determination and excellent planning and organising skills. Essential Requirements 1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree qualification. Selection Criteria • Minimum of 3 years in P&C//OD/Diversity & Inclusion role in a medium to large company environment • Background and experience working in diversity, sustainability, and employee engagement areas • Demonstrated experience of successfully working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, aligned to the principles of self-determination • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and community engagement skills • Superior planning and organising skills – think ahead and plans contingency approaches for possible roadblocks • Strong writing and presentation skills • Ability to work autonomously, take accountability and be solution-focussed
