This is an exciting opportunity to join Origin’s Internal Audit team in a role that will support the delivery of value adding and insightful services that help improve Origin’s Heath, Safety and Environment (HSE), Corporate, Retail, Energy Markets and operational control environments. You will partner with a broad range of stakeholders across Origin’s business units to deliver activities which include: Assisting in the development of an internal audit scope and approach, set clear and appropriate expectations, and obtain business commitment to deliver internal audits Conduct fieldwork to identify control gaps and inefficiencies, and appropriately describe the risk, root cause and consequence of these. This may include data analytics to test controls. Support co-source providers and technical subject matter expertise resources to evaluate the control environment Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of first- and second-line risk management and other assurance activities, and determine the effect of those activities on the overall control environment and the internal audit test plan
Whether you’re are a recent University Graduate looking for your big break, early in your career looking to enhance your skills and knowledge or have extensive experience seeking a career change we would like to hear from you. You’ll need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in problem-solving environments. You will have a good business acumen, an intuitive understanding of what is reasonable business practice, excellent communication skills and a commitment to stakeholder management. To be considered you will have: Relevant Professional Qualification e.g. Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams Ability to travel nationally (up to 30% travel requirement)
