We are recruiting for an IT Manager to join our Sydney office on a full-time, permanent basis.
The IT Manager will respond to time-sensitive day-to-day 2nd/3rd line technical support requests from Guardian Australia staff in line with GNM’s global technology standards, provide regular feedback to users, and ensure all reported issues are properly resolved. They will manage a predominately Apple MacBook fleet, and provide support to staff in person, over the phone, by email, and/or instant messaging as appropriate. They will also contribute to ongoing development of macOS and Windows standard operating environments and deployment techniques using MDM products such as Jamf and Pro, and liaise with IT departments in both the UK and US to ensure global IT policies and standards are applied to APAC users.
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a technical support function and relevant industry certification/s and/or equivalent tertiary qualifications. They will also have experience administering Windows and macOS devices in a fast-paced business environment, in-depth knowledge of Jamf Pro, a sound understanding of enterprise network protocols/technologies and video conferencing technologies, strong customer service skills and experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
