Greater Sydney Local Land Services (GS LLS) has an exciting opportunity for a Land Services Officer (Aboriginal Community Support) to engage with First Nations peoples and businesses and assist with delivery and strategic directions of Caring for Country/natural resource management projects. Experience in project support and Aboriginal community engagement essential. This is a temporary part-time contract until 30 June 2023 located in either our Penrith or Gosford office.

GS LLS is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Land Services Officer (Aboriginal Community Support) to join the Aboriginal Communities team, assisting with and enhancing opportunities for First Nations people in increasing skills and capacity and creating on-Country outcomes within the Greater Sydney region. Want the basics? • Help develop, deliver and support on ground Caring for Country / Natural Resource Management projects • Support strengthening relationships between GS LLS and First Nations Peoples • Identify opportunities to engage First Nations peoples and businesses • Assist with the ongoing enhancement of linkages between First Nations groups and key land managers • A current NSW Driver Licence, and capacity to travel essential.
• Part-time contract (30hrs per week) until 30 June 2023 • Located in either Penrith or Gosford • Salary starting from $87,493 pa + super (pro-rata) • Please note this position is open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
