This is an exciting career opportunity for a suitably qualified communications practitioner, looking for a chance to actively promote the University’s education and research in relation to the First Nations, both internally and externally. As a new position in the new First Nations Portfolio this is great opportunity to establish the communication strategy and provide expert advice and guidance to senior management.
The Communications Manager is responsible for designing, developing and implementing effective marketing and communications practices in a First Nations focused environment. This requires engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including First Nations staff, students and external organisations.
The successful applicant will be an experienced communications practitioner who understands communicating on First Nations matters in large, complex environments. The candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills, in a First Nations context.
