A critical role within Indigenous Services, this role is responsible for the product and service development and portfolio initiatives to support the business’ customer growth and commercial aspirations. The role will be pivotal in the end-to-end delivery of initiatives and execution of the product and service strategy and service design. This role is also involved in broader business projects and decision-making and is a key influencer in delivering a broader range of services to a wider more diverse client group in the Indigenous communities. Key objectives include identifying, developing and growing profitable business opportunities for Indigenous Services. The Manager, Indigenous Product and Service Design will report to the General Manager, Indigenous Business Development and Engagement. This role will attract high performing project leaders with strong business and community connections in the Indigenous sector. It requires strong leadership with program leadership capabilities, a strong business track record, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. Strong communication skills are foundational for success in this role. This role will require active collaboration between Indigenous Services, other Independent and Assisted Living teams (Health Services, Home and Disability Services and Residential Communities) and Australian Unity platforms to ensure the co-design and delivery of sustainable services and products that meet the existing and future needs of Indigenous Australians. The position holder will use contemporary project delivery techniques to establish new Aboriginal businesses.
