Join us and help us achieve these goals by: • Collaborating with our key stakeholders to provide innovative logistics solutions that add value to bp’s assets and flows • Acting with respect and integrity at all times, with the people we work with and the markets we operate in • Maintaining a comprehensive, rigorous and holistic risk control framework that ensures we operate in a safe, compliant and efficient way at all times We are looking for an experienced logistics coordinator who’s a self- starter and can work independently. In this role you are required to multi-task, prioritise activities and come up with solutions when things don’t go to plan. You place a high level of importance on safe ways of working and HSSE policies, and ideally you would have shipping, bulk fuel terminals or refinery experience. Flying the flag for the bp Marine bunkering operation in Perth, in this role you will manage and coordinate the loading of bp Marine’s bunker barge with bp Kwinana and arrange the deliveries of Marine fuels by barge and by truck in and around the port. You are also responsible for managing the administrative activities associated with the marine deliveries and the management of fitting contractors and the bunkering equipment used for truck deliveries in Fremantle / Kwinana area. You will also: • Act as the central focal point for the barge crew, ships agents and interface with the Fremantle Port Authority • Manage stock levels and reconciliations and the fulfilment of all orders in the system by completing accurate paperwork of each delivery The role will report to the ANZ Regional Marine Manager who will provide you with the support you need and trust to get the job done.
As the successful candidate you will be a: • Multi-tasking wizard with the ability to plan and schedule deliveries and the capacity to respond and adapt when the plan changes. • Excellent communicator who can engage with and influence many different types of stakeholders. • Skilled relationship builder who can quickly build strong working relationships with bp operations and sales team members, and with external parties • Individual comfortable with working autonomously and independently as the sole representative of bp Marine in Perth. • Available after hours, at times, to respond to the demands of the 24/7 shipping industry • Logistics specialist who has used SAP and has energy industry experience
