The Product Manager will take charge of the development and continual improvement of the Winc Indigenous products strategy. This dynamic role connects with our other Product Categories, as well as working closely with our Indigenous-owned suppliers.
You will be a motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to participate and learn in this role. Part of your role will be to develop and implement strategic direction of Winc’s Indigenous Product Strategy in line with the respective Category Strategies and more. Key responsibilities of the role include: • End to end oversight for the day-to-day management, sourcing and development of the Indigenous product offering. • Own the product lifecycle- relationship management with suppliers ensuring continuous improvement of the product range. • Be Winc’s subject matter expert, consulting with both salespeople and directly with the customer where required. • Drive product innovation and continuously analyse data and insights to determine market trends, threats and unlock growth opportunities. • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute a clear communication strategy. • Drive alignment and transparency with the Sales, Marketing, Procurement & Inventory teams, with a focus to improve customer experience and profit improvements across all customer segments and channels. • Develop and manage ongoing vendor partnerships, ensuring the best possible commercial arrangements on all products and solutions. Experience Required: 1. Experience working with the Indigenous community. 2. Commercial acumen and strong negotiations skills 3. Excellent relationship building skills 4. Superior problem--solving capabilities and procedural focus 5. Strong analytical capabilities
