We have an exciting opportunity for a talented web production assistant to join our newsroom in Sydney on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working over a seven-day roster (ordinarily including at least one weekend day) with early starts and/or late finishes. In this role you will work as part of our global central production team to monitor sites and work with colleagues to ensure the highest editorial, technical, production and design standards are maintained across the Guardian network. Dealing with daily production requests and queries from editorial and project teams from our global offices, you will also troubleshoot technical issues and manage production-related communications as required.
If you have previous journalistic experience in a print or online environment, knowledge of web production and experience working in a changing and pressurised environment, we’d like to hear from you.
