We have an exciting opportunity for a senior production coordinator to supervise our local central production support team for Guardian Australia’s digital output.
In this role you will manage the daily flow of requests sent to the central production team, act as a local authority in incident management, be the first point of reference for central production staff in Australia, monitoring their work and managing the prioritisation and completion of daily tasks and project work. You will liaise between commercial and editorial departments to ensure transparency across the business and work closely with technical teams to ensure that digital production and publishing systems are working properly. You will also assist and advise on digital best-practice across the Guardian's platforms and assist with the creation of visual materials including videos, podcasts, quizzes, responsive charts and graphs. If you have previous production experience in a print or online environment, knowledge of the Guardian’s digital production systems and experience working in a changing and pressurised environment, we’d like to hear from you.
