Work with the Students Group on a range of initiatives and improvements which will serve to enhance the student experience and strengthen quality assurance processes. This role will actively support the delivery of these initiatives and ensure the ongoing success of our volunteering programs.
The Students group has recently completed a review of volunteering activities across the group. This has resulted in a range of initiatives and improvements being identified, which will serve to enhance the student experience and strengthen quality assurance processes. This role will actively support the delivery of these initiatives. Building from the recommendations and supported by a stakeholder community, you will facilitate a range of activities, which will ensure the ongoing success of our volunteering programs. You will have strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage and deliver a range of tasks. You will be comfortable engaging with, and presenting information to a varied stakeholder group. You will also be passionate about improving the student experience. The role is offered on a full-time, fixed term basis and will work under close supervision from the Senior Adviser Student Partnerships.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have: 1. Demonstrated experience in delivering project outcomes. 2. Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from students to internal partners. 3. Well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to take the initiative in identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve existing practices and services. 4. Demonstrated experience of adapting to new technologies or systems and advanced skills in using collaborative work tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (in particular SharePoint and PowerPoint). 5. Proven ability to work effectively as a flexible team member committed to achieving own and work Must have or be willing to complete an Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC). Desirable 6. Experience producing web or social media content would be beneficial. 7. A strong understanding of student extra-curricular experiences.
