About the role

What you bring to the table

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Senior HSEQ Advisor to continually improve and develop HSEQ processes and initiatives across the East Coast and the wider group.

  • Assist in the implementation, management and coordination of activities aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
  • Provide HSEQ coaching and advice to the team along with data to support project-specific requirements.
  • Monitor and report HSEQ performance regularly to key internal stakeholders. Assist in the design and development of HSEQ programs to enhance team awareness and competency.
  • Conduct regular HSEQ audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Promote a positive HSEQ culture within the East Coast Team and the wider group.

You are a dynamic self-starter with strong communication skills, a sense of fun and the ability to motivate and drive a positive wellbeing, safety and quality culture.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. You must be able to work effectively under pressure. High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.

Application Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (Health Safety and Environment) or similar in a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience in a Health, Safety and Environment advisory role.
  • A strong understanding of applicable WHS legislation and best practice.
